Geger Beach was a refreshing beach to visit by Bali Driver, quiet, relaxing and beautiful. Long waves rolled into the sea from offshore and the beach club looked like a great place to unwind with a drink. Unfortunately there was not time and Uluwatu Temple beckoned.

As you can see in this panoramic photograph, Geger beach in Bali is one of those classic Indonesian beaches which draw holiday makers to Bali. It has gorgeous white sands and clear blue seas with rolling waves. Geger beach has it’s own Beach Club from which you can hire a sun bed, order drinks, lie back and relax. No exaggeration to Bali Driver Info advise tourists to come to the beach tantrum.
Because of the rolling surf, Geger beach is popular with the surfing community. The beach is just 5 minutes away from the Nusa Dua beach resort and hotel complex, which also contains a golf course. Most of those staying n Nusa Dua have no idea of this little gem just down the road, which remains a very relaxing beach in Bali.
Had tourist who joined Bali driver service, and live in Jimbaran area or in Nusadua, the rich and famous neighbour – is just 5-10 minutes away from from your Hotel. Just heading towards Nusa Dua, on the intersection at HARDY’S Supermarket, turn right to Siligita road, follow the road, you will see a small statue on an intersection and notice the sign board to Geger and Sawangan Beach direction where it will lead you to the main road on which Bali Golf Resort Nusa Dua is located, and you’ll pass one of the newest hotel in Bali : St Regis as well. Then you’ll arrive at Geger Beach. Easy breezy.
Back in my visit in 2006, Geger Beach, Nusa Dua, has a thick white sand so thick and rich that an international beach games in 2008 with venues mostly held in Kuta Beach decided that Geger should ‘share’ the white sand so the volleyball players would fall on a comfy bouncy sand instead of soft brown and hard sand like Kuta Beach. So there it was, a giant ship tanker with its giant vacuum cleaner sucked up 50% of the sand and poured it all over Kuta Beach. Yay! Kuta Beach is an adopted son of Geger now, it has Geger blood aka sand in it.
